Cooler Ionizer
Can anyone tell me if this air cooler works?

I'm looking at purchasing this item, but am wondering if it's worth the money? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks!
According to the manufacturer this is basically a small Portable Evaporative cooler which passes air over a wetted wick to achieve cooling. Ice can be added to make the water colder and aid in reducing the temperature. It's only for a very small area, as in sitting next to the chair you might be occupying. If you live in the deserts of Arizona or New Mexico it might not be a bad device for keeping you cool while you watch TV or some other immobile activity. If you live in Florida or some other humid environment then you'll be wasting good money as it will only add to the oppressive humidity that you're already feeling. By the way, the manufacturer will sell this cooler factory direct for $114. The link is attached.
